What's in store for Gingham and Calico this coming 4-H year?
Here's the lineup:
Gingham - Presentation Skills, Simple Stitching, Intermediate Archery, Crochet, Beading
Calico - Historical Art, Simple Stitching, Beginning Archery, Crochet, Beverage Making
Three of the same classes! That should simplify our life a bit. Packing for a 4-H day is quite an endeavor. We start building stacks of supplies in the living room a day or two beforehand, then struggle in at project day's end leaving the same boxes in disarray while we head for the dinner table, then collapse for the evening.
But it's worth the effort. The girls benefit so much from the classes and they dearly love the friends they've made there.
