Murphy's Country Walk

For a city schnoodle like Murphy, a walk in the country is deliciously exciting, brimming with delights to his doggy senses. Given his propensity to hysterics, he was oddly quiet. Only two or three episodes of frenzied barking interrupted our walk. One occurred when he drew close enough to gather in the huge bulk of these horses,

which both fascinated and terrified him.

but the perfume of the country road was entrancing, leading him on.

On the way home he encountered new creatures who seemed as curious about him as he was about them.

This duo peeled off from the herd to follow Murphy down the lane. He'll have to look his new pals up on his next foray to Ferndale.

No Ordinary Ornament

Took a break from decorating the tree. Returned to find an ornament had attached itself in my absence.
