Bible Study - the early years

In our first Bible notebook the girls, then aged 5 and 6, would illustrate the Bible story, then narrate to me. Most of the writing is mine.

Gingham has always enjoyed illustrating. This is her vision of the parable of the sower.

Calico was about 4 when she drew Paul on the Damascus road.

They also had the option of writing "letters" to God, which they kept in a large, hole-punched envelope kept in the back of the notebook. Gingham never once took that option, but Calico's envelope is stuffed with notes like this: Dear Jesus I wut to folow you it is hrde but i dowit I do not give up. Love...

No Ordinary Ornament

Took a break from decorating the tree. Returned to find an ornament had attached itself in my absence.
